Korea’s Ferrosilicon Import Statistics by Country in Jun 2015

In June, 2015, Norway exported 16651 mt ferrosilicon(Si>55%), decreasing by 13.7% M-O-M and down by 25% Y-O-Y.

Brazil’s Ferrosilicon Export Decreased by 40% in H1 of 2015

In June this year Russia's ferrosilicon output increased y 7.3 percent compared to June 2014, reaching 88,100 mt.

According to statistic of National Bureau of Statistics of China, the ferrosilicon production in June 2015 was 381.3 thousand tons, up by 9.9% M-O-M and down by 11.6% Y-O-Y. The total production in H1 of 2015 was 2.197 million tons, down by 13.4% Y-O-Y.

According to statistic of Korea Customs, the import volume of other ferroalloy in Jun was 1,446 tons, up by 7.7% Y-O-Y. The imported materials were mainly sourced from China （1,343 tons）. Meanwhile, the export volume was 189 tons in Jun 2015.

According to statistics, Brazil exported 23,325 tons of ferro-alloy in June, down slightly by 1% in comparison of last month.

According to the foreign trade statistics of Malaysia, the export volume of ferro-silicon (Si: over 55%) in April 2015 was 3,143 tons,
