Japan ferrosilicon (>55%) imports down 16.45% YoY in Jan-May.

The profit growth of Chinese industrial firms was positive for the first time this year as economic order further normalized from the COVID-19 epidemic in May, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Sunday.

China exported 27781.63 tons of ferrosilicon (>55%) in May, down 32.41% vs. last month and down 23.82% year on year.

The 2009 ferrosilicon contract price on ZCE closed at 5944 yuan per ton on June 29.
