China exported 20989.859 tons of ferrosilicon (≤55%) in the first months of 2019.

The growth of China's raw coal production slowed down in August, data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed.

Of the total coal imports in July 2019, non-coking coal shipment was at 12.66 MT.

Production of raw coal was 316.02 million tons, up by 5% vs. the same period in 2018.

Production of coke was 40 million tons, up by 4.6% vs. the same period in 2018.

In the week ending on September 14, 2019, US domestic raw steel production was 1,811,000 net tons.

In the week ending on September 7, 2019, domestic raw steel production was 1,835,000 net tons.

For the month of July 2019, U.S. steel mills shipped 8,115,103 net tons.
