Aluminum Price Hits Near 10-month High

[Fellow]It is reported that the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) said that South Korea’s Posco and China’s Chongqing iron and steel (CISC) have signed memorandum of understanding on a US$3.3 billion investment.

[Ferro-Alloys.com] China's economic recovery and reducing aluminum inventories have sent aluminum price soaring to a highest level over past 10 months.

 
Currently, the aluminum price has reached US$1,936/ton on June 3rd. Compare to the average price of US$1,800/ton in May; it has increased by more than US$100/ton in one month. 
 
According to understanding, if China’s market continues to improve and inventories keep dropping, the aluminum price will climb further.
