[Ferro-Alloys.com] According to data released by the China Iron & Steel Association (CISA), the crude steel production of the major steelmakers in China totaled 68.94 million tons in June, decreasing by 0.8% compared from the same time a year earlier.
The country’s daily crude steel production output reached 2.298 million tons, registering an increase of 1.9% from the previous month.
The country’s steel production reached 98.42 million tons, down by 0.8% year on year.
During January to June, China’s crude steel apparent consumption hit 360 million tons, down by 4.8% compared to the same period a year ago.
