[Ferro-alloys.com] Japan iron and steel Association in August of this year announced that Japan exported 3.401 million tons of steel, down 3.8% month on month, and down 3.4% year on year.

The country’s steel exports totaled ￥292.9 billion, down 8.2% year on year, steel product imports totaled 640,000 tons, an increase of 0.9% month on month, down 1% year on year.
