According to Japan Economy Trade and Industry announced in January-March this year, Japan produced 4.751 million tons of special steel, an increase of 4.9% to 4.5311 million tons compared to the same period of previous quarter.

Among them, Japan sold 3.2134 million tons for domestic market; exported 1.5376 million tons.
