According to Japan Iron and Steel Federation data showed in February this year, Japan domestic automobile industry construction industry demand continued to weak, which effected the export volumes decreased further.

In February of this year, Japan’s crude steel production totaled 8.355 million tons, down by 1% year on year, down for 18 consecutive months.

Japan Iron and Steel Federation indicated the production might remain weak, if the market demand didn’t recover in short term.
