Ukraine has announced to increase scrap export taxes from €10-35/ton for three years. The approval by Ukraine Parliament to immediate affected.

Meanwhile, there are 250 Ukraine exporters have applied the exports of 3.8 million tons of scarp, which submits to Ukraine economic development and trade on March 23, but only 152 exporters have been allowed to export.

In early March, Ukraine Economic Development and Trade Ministry announced that 2016 scrap steel export quota was 1.1 million tons, compared to 1.2 million tons in 2015.
