[www.ferro-alloys.com] Due to markets stocks fell last week, the European heavy plate prices continued to rise. In view of the shortage of raw material supply and the upcoming steel maintenance, market participants expected plate market demand might be limited in short-term. 
One of trader KlöcknerKl said that steel plate prices was not likely to fall sharply this year, plate prices could continue to rebound till the 3rd quarter of this year. However, traders were cautious about current price rises.
