According to data released by the World Steel Association, in December 2020, the crude steel production in 64 countries included in the World Steel Association statistics was 160.9 million tons, an increase of 5.8% from the same period last year.
Among them, China’s crude steel output in December was 91.25 million tons, an increase of 7.7% from the same period last year.
The data also showed that global crude steel production fell 0.9% to 1.864 billion tons in 2020, of which China’s crude steel production in 2020 was 1.053 billion tons, an increase of 5.2% from 2019.
