BHP cuts South African manganese ore offers to China

[Ferro-Alloys.com] BHP Billiton has cut its August offers for South African manganese ore to China, traders told Metal Bulletin.
 
The latest offers heard for Mamatwan lump from South Africa with a minimum 38% metal content were $4.5 per mtu for August shipment, down from July levels of $5.1 per mtu, sources said. Traders have not received offers from the miner for its Australian lump ore.
